Wilfred Robert Boucher Sr., age 71, of Swansea, passed away Jan. 11, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Cowen) Boucher and the son of the late Napoleon and Malvina (Desmarais) Boucher. Prior to retiring, he was the proprietor of Will’s Dry Wall Co., a parishioner of St. Louis de France Church, a member of the Somerset Sportsman’s Club, the National Rifle Association & G.O.A.L.
Wilfred was the father of Wilfred Robert Boucher Jr. and his wife Patricia of Assonet, Gary Boucher of Swansea, Doreen Constancia and her husband Joseph of Fall River, “adoptive” father of Brian Levesque of Fall River, brother of Rose Ferreira of Tampa, FL, Blanche Yelle of Portage, ME, the late Joseph “Henry” Boucher, Melvina Boucher, Aura De Mattos, Bertha Monte, grandfather of Wilfred Robert Boucher III and uncle to several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River SATURDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. Calling hours FRIDAY 6-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
