Wilma (Pycock) Falkenburg 84 of Washington Township, NJ left this earth and returned to God on January 5, 2011. At the time of her passing she was living at Emeritus of Emerson assisted living facility in Emerson, NJ. Born in Hackensack, NJ, August 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Harry S. and Wilma L. (Buechner) Pycock. She was the wife of the late Warren H. Falkenburg who passed away on November 4, 2004. Mrs. Falkenberg had lived in Forestdale before moving two years ago to New Jersey to be closer to her daughter. She and her husband moved from the lower cape to Forestdale in 2002. They had lived on the lower cape for more than 30 years. Together they owned and operated the Harbor View Motel in Truro for many years. She was a member of the Gateway Christian Center in Mashpee.
Her family was her focus and the source of her joy. She is survived by her 2 sons, Warren Falkenburg II and his wife Rudelle of No. Truro, and Paul Falkenburg and his wife Debbie, of Carmel, ME; two daughters, Susan Joy of Mashpee and Beth Ellyn Strickland and her husband Tom of Washington Township, NJ; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A graveside service was held at Old North Cemetery Truro on Monday January 10, 2011 at 11:00am.
