BRISTOL, RI-Helen A. (Millis) Bellos, 84 of 55 State Street, formerly of Dover Street, Worcester died Monday, December 29th in Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren, RI. Her husband Achilles S. Bellos died in 1988. She leaves a son Steven Bellos of Worcester, 2 daughters Demetrula Gatos of Bristol, RI and Dorothy Delis of Longmeadow, MA, a brother and 6 grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
She was born in Gorantsi, Albania the daughter of Anastasios and Theodora Millis and had lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Bristol several years ago. Mrs. Bellos had been a stitcher for several area companies. She was a member of St. Spyridon Cathedral.
The funeral is Saturday, January 3rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Spyridon Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, January 2nd from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
