Mrs. Pamela J. Hunt, age 64, of Wilmington formerly of Reading passed away peacefully January 8th following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved husband of William J. Hunt III and together they shared 42 years of marriage filled with love and respect for each other. Born in Malden she was the daughter of the late Chester E. and Margaret E. (Warner) Wells.
Pamela was raised in Malden and moved to Medford with her family for a short time and was a graduate of Medford High School with the class of 1965. Following her marriage in October of 1968, she and her husband William settled in Reading for a number of years before moving to Wilmington where they have lived since 1987. Pamela worked for many years as a quality control inspector and group leader for Compugraphic/AGFA of Wilmington. Mostly devoted to her loving family she enjoyed and cherished spending time with her loved ones. She loved being outdoors spending time at the beach or camping with friends and family. Together with her family they spent many happy times at their cottage in West Athens, Maine. Pamela was a kind and loving person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her late parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her son, the late Wayne Hunt. She is survived by her loving son, William J. Hunt IV and his wife Liliana of Lowell. She is also survived by her sisters, Charlene Shepard of Malden, Margaret Novis and her husband John of Chelmsford, Patricia Brady of Malden, Geraldine Carbone and her husband Louis of Medford. She is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Family and friends will gather for a funeral services conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, on Thursday, January 13th, at 11 am. Visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday from 4 thru 8. Interment services will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Pamela's memory to the Make A Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
