Mr. Donald Edward Harris, a 15 year resident of Arlington and formerly of Boston, died at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on January 1, 2011. He was 76 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Donald was the beloved son of the late James and Bertha Harris. He worked as an Auto Body Mechanic for many years and most recently worked as a security guard. Mr. Harris loved to build model airplanes as well as model boats and motorcycles. He also enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle and collecting eagles. Above all, Donald was a beloved father and grandfather.
He will be missed by his loving children; Donald, Ronald and Theresa, all of California, Dwayne of North Carolina, Kevin of Rhode Island and Christina of Malden and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also the devoted brother of the late Eugene Harris.
Visiting hours were held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday, January 11, 2011, from 12 to 2 PM. His funeral service and interment were private. For additional information, please visit, www.magliozzifuneralhome.com.
