TIVERTON, RI …Louis A. J. Poldervaart, 67, of Tiverton passed away at home Wednesday, January 5, 2011.
He was the husband of Leslie (Ball) Poldervaart.
He was born in the Netherlands, the son of the late Pieter and the late Johanna (Noordijk) Poldervaart and was the son-in-law of Genevieve Ball. He had lived in Tiverton for the past 28 years.
He was employed as a car salesman by Mattie Imports, Inc. of Fall River for 14 years and Viti Mercedes-Benz of Tiverton for 2 years before retiring in 2004.
Survivors include his wife, his mother-in-law, three daughters: Michelle Greenwood of Dudley, MA, Marsha Dube of Southbridge, MA, Kathi Krause of Tiverton,a son Kenneth McCrosson of Attleboro a sister: Monique Koller of Heemsteda, Netherlands,a sister-in-law Town Councilor Joan Chabot of Tiverton 4 Grandchildren, 3 Nephews.
