Obituary

Winthrop: Hazel A. (LeBlanc) Coleman of Winthrop, died Thursday evening, January 6, 2011 at Masconomet Health Care in Topsfield. She was the wife of the late Retired U.S, Navy Commander Robert E. Coleman.

Born in Boston and raised in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Odessa (Clements) LeBlanc. Married in 1937, the family first lived in Revere and later lived in Winthrop for many years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish of Winthrop.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by two daughters, Sue Carabott of Dover, NH, Cathy McKenna of Winthrop, a brother Thomas LeBlanc and his wife of Josephine of Revere, three grandchildren, Michelle Brockmann, Todd and Jeffrey Sullivan and five great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SolAmor Hospice, 161 South Main St., Middleton, MA 01949.
