David William Lodi, 59, of Natick, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 5, 2011.
Born in Waltham, son of the late Francis Lodi & Margaret (Griffin) Lodi, Mr. Lodi enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on June 16, 1970 after graduating from high school. He served honorably during the Vietnam era until being honorably discharged on June 15, 1976. Mr. Lodi was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal & the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 star. He was employed as a machinist for Lentros Engineering in Ashland.
Mr. Lodi is survived by 2 sons, Jason Lodi & his fiancee Lindsey Dugdale & Derek Lodi both of Hopedale. He was the brother of Nancy Alonso of Norwood, Lisa Rober of Bedford, Kim El-Fakih of Billerica, & the late Gail Lodi. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Relatives & friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Mr. Lodi's life in the Chapel of the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
