Peter A. “Pete” Marazzi, 81 of Medford, died Wednesday unexpectedly in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Somerville, he lived in Medford since 1960 and was the son of the late Julia (Certusi) and John F. Marazzi. Peter was a Foreman in the Shipping and Receiving department of the former Sexton Can Company in Everett for 40 years and retired in 1992. Peter was a late U. S. Army veteran during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He also was a member of AARP, and the National Rifle Association.
Beloved husband of the late Angela M. (Marzolini) Marazzi. Devoted father of John Marazzi of Tewksbury, Peter Marazzi Jr. of Malden, Robert Marazzi of Tewksbury, James Marazzi of Revere and Julia Guthro of Lowell. Loving grandfather of Crystal, Nicholas, Charlene, Johnny, Joseph, Ashley, Steven, Angelina, Kevin and Amber. Loving great grandfather of Ella and Callie. Brother of Gloria Albano of Methuen, the late Teresa Hammond and John Marazzi.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
