Mary N. Blueit, 78, of Londonderry, NH died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at her daughters home in Londonderry. She was born on March 28, 1932 in Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late Norman J. and Sophie (Wall) Boucher. She was a resident of Londonderry for over 49 years, formerly living in Lawrence, MA. Mrs. Blueit was an avid bowler who played on many league teams. She enjoyed gambling, watching stock car races, listening to polka music, and playing scrabble. Mrs. Blueit loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a lover of life in general.
She is survived by three daughters, Faith Rowell of Columbus, OH, Julie Clinton and Ann Buyck both of Londonderry, two sons, Fred Healey of Derry, Michael Blueit of Rochester, NH, seven grandchildren, Joshua Rowell, Amy Pedrick, Shannon Cronin, Krystal Clinton, Alisha Buyck, Kristy Buyck, Brittany Buyck, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Joyce Schiebel of Methuen, MA, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Blueit in 1977.
Calling hours were held on Monday January 10th from 4 - 8PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry.
