Scott A. Hynes

...formerly of Tewksbury; 42

SO. YARMOUTH, MA - Scott A. Hynes, age 42, who was raised in Tewksbury, died Saturday,Dec. 27, at his home following a lengthy and courageous battle with Diabetes.

He was born in Boston, Dec. 14, 1961, a son of Beverly (Hudson)(Hynes) Camerlengo of So.Yarmouth, and the late Edward P. Hynes who died in 1974. He was raised in Tewksbury and wasgraduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica with the Class of 1979. Helived in Texas for eight years before returning to So. Yarmouth two years ago due to declininghealth.

When in better health, he had worked as a residential and commercial plumber in Texas and thegreater Lowell area.

In his earlier years he was active in several youth sporting groups in Tewksbury.

As a resident of Tewksbury, he was a communicant of St. William’s Church, and since moving toCape Cod, a communicant of St. Pius X Parish in So. Yarmouth.

Besides his mother he is survived by his step-father, Lawrence P. Camerlengo of So. Yarmouth; twodaughters, Nicole Hynes of Tewksbury, and Charissa Maher of Methuen; a son, Scott Hynes Jr. of Tewksbury; three sisters and twobrothers-in-law, Kathi and Hugh Wysocki of Austin, TX, Kelly and John Denney Jr. ofColumbus, GA, Courtney Camerlengo of So. Yarmouth; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Toddand his wife Anna (Wacker) Hynes of Austin, TX, Anthony M. Camerlengo; two nieces, CharieHynes and Vivian Hynes; a nephew, John Denney III; and was the former husband of Kim(Johnson) Hynes of Tewksbury. He was also brother of the late Michael Hynes.

His FuneralMass was held Saturday, Jan. 3, in St. William’s Church. Following cremation, private interment will be inTewksbury Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Artificial KidneyCenter, Willow St., Yarmouthport, MA 02675, will be appreciated.
