Helen M. (VanArsdale) Hall, 93, of 15 Sherwood Drive, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge with her family at her side.
Her husband, Tunis V.M. Hall died in December 3, 1985.
She leaves behind a daughter, Nancy L. wife of Philip W. Lohner of Oxford,with whom she resided, a grand-daughter, Tracey L. wife of Ted J. Wroblewski, 2 great grand-daughters; Hannah A. and Katie H. Wroblewski all of Oxford and a brother, Lester VanArsdale of Biglersville,PA.
Helen was born in South Branch, New Jersey a daughter of George W. and Cora (Marquis) VanArsdale and has lived in Oxford since 1982.
She was predeceased by a brother, Christopher VanArsdale of Biglersville,PA.
She worked at Tri-Valley Services and was a volunteer at the Oxford Senior Center and a member of the Oxford Golden Age Club. On May 13, 1988 she received the Oxford Senior Citizen of the Year Award.
She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.
Helen especially enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her 2 great grand-daughters, Hannah and Katie.
Calling hours for Helen will be Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 1 to 3 PM in the Robert J. Miller-Oxford Funeral Home, 247 Main St.in Oxford.Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the South Branch Reformed Church Cemetery in South Branch, New Jersey.
