Mary (Sebastiao) Affonso Connor, age 89, of Somerset passed away January 2, 2011. She was the wife of the late Antone C. Affonso and the late John Connor, the daughter of the late Manuel C. and Ermilinda (Correia) Sebastiao. She was a retired sewing machine operator for various garment manufacturers in Fall River, and a member of St. John of God Church.
Mary was the mother of Madeline Raposa and George C. Affonso both of Somerset, grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 11, sister of Raymond Sebastiao of Fall River, the late Dorothy Lavault, Daniel, Joseph, George, Antone, and John Sebastiao, and aunt to many nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River SATURDAY at 8:00A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours FRIDAY 5-8 P.M.
