Bere of Plymouth formerly of Pembroke, Lawrence G. 56, “Larry” at home January 3, after a long illness. He leaves his wife Karen (Hackett) Bere of Plymouth his children Karalyn of Boston Julieann and Matthew both of Plymouth. He also leaves his parents John H. and Mary (Burns) Bere of Pembroke, a brother Robert of Pembroke, 3 sisters Linda Dowd of Plymouth, Eileen Jacob of Hanover, Kathleen Szoke of Bridgewater, and several nieces and nephews brother of the late Donna Bryan. Larry grew up in Pembroke and graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School, he attended Eastern Nazarene College. He was an accountant for Edmar Corp. and was an avid baseball fan.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Parish in Plymouth on Saturday January 8 at 10:00 AM There are no visiting hours. Donations in his memory in lieu of flowers may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center Inc. 1 Joslin Place, Boston MA 02215. Burial will be in the Vine Hill Cemetery Plymouth, MA Arrangements by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet.
