Obituary

Silver Lake, NH—Maureen (Robinson) DeBaggis 84, of Silver Lake, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Monday December 27, 2010 at Mineral Springs, in North Conway following an illness. She was the wife of the late Reginald E. “Reggie” DeBaggis passed away in 2008.
Born in Hartley Pool, England the daughter of the late Arthur & Christiana (Woodward) Robinson, she was raised and educated in England. She also met her husband during the war and they were married. Following World War II she came to the United States on the Queen Mary to join her husband, and they settled in Franklin for over 25 years.
In the early 1970’s they moved to North Conway, where along with her late husband they owned and operated the former MRD Copy Center for twelve years.
She was active with Arts Jubilee for many years, the former Volvo Tennis, the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and had been a member of the former Eastern Slope Emblem Club #330.
She is survived by her daughter; Dianne R. Turner of Ocala, Florida and 2 grandsons; Michael Mohla & Scott Mohla both of Silver Lake, five great grandchildren, a brother Dennis Robinson of New Mexico and a sister Joan Williams of Wales.
Maureen was the mother of the late Shirley, Donald, Margaret, Joan and Regina DeBaggis, who perished in a home fire in Franklin in 1954.
Her interment services will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
