North Andover, MA – Frederick Coppeta, 77, died January 2nd, 2011 at the Holy Family Hospital.
Born in Lawrence April 23, 1933 Frederick was the son of the late Ido and Muriel (Husson) Coppeta. For 36 years he was employed as a Cable Formel with Lucent Technologies of North Andover before his retirement in 1998.
In 1951 he enlisted in the United States Air Force as an Airman 1st class and was stationed in Okinawa and other parts of Japan from 1951-1961 before being honorably discharged from the service.
According to his family Frederick enjoyed Jigsaw Puzzles and was a gifted graphic artist when drawing cartoon artists.
The widower of Margaret (Reveill) Coppeta Frederick is survived by one brother Arthur R. and his wife Claire Coppeta of Danville, NH, a devoted niece Pauline Coppeta and a niece Cheryl and her husband Corradino Iannalfo of Derry, NH
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with burial to follow in Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover.
Friends will be warmly received on Wednesday from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
