Constantino “Tino” Gouveia, age 89, of Fall River, passed away Jan. 1, 2011. He was the beloved husband to Eliza (Costa) Gouveia for 67 years and the son of the late Francisco D. and Maria (Mello) Gouveia. Prior to retiring, Constantino worked as a Cutter for the former Sagamore Mills.
Constantino was the father of Robert Gouveia, Linda Gouveia, Carol Marie Gelinas all of Fall River, and the late Richard Gouveia, grandfather of Keith, Kevin, Kyle, & Jacob, brother of Cassie Correia and Delores Miranda both of Fall River, the late Alfred & Frank Gouveia, Lorraine Andrade, Rose Moreira, Valentine Piche, Edith Oliveira, Ruth Mello, Lucy Travassos, Mary Boudry, & Virginia Cashman, uncle to many nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on THURSDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
