Taunton – Paul Dow, a long time Raynham resident, died December 30, 2010 at Morton Hospital Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was 85 years of age. Mr. Dow was born in Chicago, IL. Son of the late Arthur Dow and the late Bertha (Hunt) Dow. He was the loving husband of Miriam (Hamilton) Dow. He graduated from Foxboro High School and was a graduate from Gordon College and Gordon Conwell Divinity School. Mr. Dow served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a pastor in various churches in New York, Maine and Massachusetts. He taught at the South Shore Christian School in Brockton for 21 years. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf, liked to read and was an avid fan of Red Sox and Patriots. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Linda Fetters of Virginia, Sharon Tompkins of Kansas, Deborah Wolfsberg of Seekonk and Judith Stanford of Attleboro. He is also survived by one brother, Robert Dow of Foxboro and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at the First Baptist Church in Raynham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the Taunton Funeral Home. Burial at the Rockhill Cemetery in Foxboro.
