David F. Minicucci, 50

David F. Minicucci, 50 of Norton formerly of Mansfield and Braintree passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 31, 2010 at home. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Gillis) Minicucci, to whom he was wed on April 8,1989.
Born in Quincy, MA on July 28, 1960, he was a dear son of June (Callahan) Minicucci of Braintree and the late Oriento Minicucci.
David was raised and educated in Braintree. He attended the Newman Preparatory School and was a graduate of Franklin Institute where he received his Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering.
Mr. Minicucci was a Construction Manager and had been employed for several years for Toll Brothers in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
A resident of Norton for the past 8 years, he along with his family were communicants of St. Mary’s Church in Norton. He had formerly resided in Mansfield for 8 years and had attended St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield.
David’s family was the focal point of his life. He enjoyed playing guitar, golfing with his sons and was an avid Bruins and Patriots fan.
In addition to his beloved wife and mother, he is survived by his loving children Nicholas D. Minicucci, Casey E. Minicucci, Joseph D. Minicucci and Jake M. Minicucci all of Norton. The devoted brother of Cindy Conley of Abington and Jean Tarbox of Whitman, David is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
His Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Wednesday January 5th at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday January 4th from 5-8 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
In lieu of flowers, David’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Minicucci Children’s Educational Fund, care of Norwood Cooperative Bank 11 Central St. Norwood, MA 02062.
