MILFORD: Carol F. Lehan, age 65, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Milford Regional Hospital. She was the wife of John Lehan, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.
Born in Salem on January 13, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Henry P. Migneault and Catherine E. (Deveau) Salkins. She had resided in San Jose, California for many years before returning to Milford ten years ago.
Carol was employed as a process engineer at Applied Materials in Santa Clara, California for twenty-five years before her retirement in 1998. During her retirement, she enjoyed gardening and decorating and attending the Boston Ballet and North Shore Music Theater.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Diane Buckley of Beverly; a brother and sister-in-law, Henry F. and Sylvia Migneault of Beverly; a sister, Paula A. Welch of Merrimac; a father-in-law, Richard Lehan of Sacramento, California, a sister-in-law, Billie Valdez and her husband, Al of Mission Viejo, California; a brother-in-law, Rick Lehan of Sacramento California; two uncles, Melvin and Raymond Deveau, both of Beverly and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, John Kobierski and mother-in-law Margaret Lehan. She will be missed by the many friends she leaves behind and especially her pets, Curt, Brady, Ashley and Amber.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 – 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the North Shore Civic Ballet, 115 Pleasant St., Marblehead, MA 01945.
