Raymond P. St. Aubin, 83, of Lawrence died on Christmas evening after spending a wonderful Christmas day with his family. His wife of 58 years, Pat was by his side. Ray was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and has lived in Lawrence all of his life. He was a summer resident of York Beach, Maine. Before retirement, Ray worked as a machinist at Bolton Emerson Company, Lawrence. He also served with the US Navy. Ray was an avid sports fan and , especially, enjoyed following The New England Patriots. He loved sitting in his back yard in Maine and socializing with all of his friends and neighbors. Besides his wife, Patricia M. (McLay) St. Aubin, his family members include his daughters, Susan Rae and her husband, Jim Pickul of Danville, NH, Debbie and her husband, Joe Fitzpatrick of Salem, NH and Carol L. and her husband, Scott Kyser of Lawrence. He leaves his grandchildren, Becky Pickul, Sharna Durkin, Jami St. Aubin and Kaitlyn Kyser and 2 great granddaughters, Allana and Lily. Ray also leaves his brother, William and his wife, Madeline St. Aubin of Deltona Beach, FL and 2 sisters, Claire St. Aubin of Lawrence and Pauline Michaud of Lawrence and 2 sisters -in-law, Ernestine St. Aubin of Lawrence and Evelyn Kalil of E. Harwich, MA and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Monday January 3, 2011 from 4 to 7 pm at The Arthur J. Scott Funeral Home, 298 South Broadway, Lawrence. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, Ma. 01843.
