Sylvia J. (Castonguay) Carr, 89, of Walpole died December 29 in Caritas Norwood Hospital.
Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, October 16, 1921, the daughter of the late Fernando and Lumina (Turgeon) Castonguay, Mrs. Carr was raised in Vermont and had lived in Walpole since 1941.
Mrs. Carr had been an assembler for the Becton Dickinson Company in Sharon for many years.
Sylvia loved to dance.
She is survived by her sisters, Yvette Shore and Lucille Castonguay of Walpole.
She is also survived by her nephews, Francis and Stephen Shore of Walpole and 9 grand nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 3 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walple at 6:00 p.m.
Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4-6.
