SCHERER, Albert E. "Al", 64, passed away Thursday December 23, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Louisville, KY to Raymond G. and Alberta (Breitt) Scherer.
Al was a Lutheran by faith and was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge.
He was the "Special Events" Manager for River City Beer Distributors with 25 years service.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Survivors include his children: Brian Scherer (Pam) and Shannon Glass (Bo);
2 Grandchildren: Jeremy & Jacob Glass; his former wife of 25 years: Lynn Duckworth;
a Brother: Donald Scherer; 2 Sisters: Marlene Wilson (Jerry) and Norma Sowell (John).
A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 PM Sunday January 2, 2011 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Memorial visitation will be 2 - 5 pm Sunday. Cremation was chosen.
