AUBURN- Clifford R. Barber, 86, of 4 Perry Street, a retired chrome plating technician, died Saturday December 27, 2003 in Life Care Center, Auburn after an illness.
His Wife Anne (Dunlop) Barber predeceased him.
He is survived by his two sons; Clifford R. Barber Jr. of Pahrump, NV and Robert S. Barber of Worcester, two brothers; John Barber, of Worcester, and Norman Barber, of Ft. Meyers, Fl. Three sisters; Shirley Lawton, of Worcester, Margery Rocheford, of Co. and Jeanette Billipus, of NH 12 Grandchildren, and 20 Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Barber worked for many years as a chrome-plating technician at Gay Chrome and later Reed and Prince, in Worcester before retiring in the late 1970’s
He was a member of Saint Joseph Church in Auburn; he enjoyed gardening and frequented area flea markets.
His funeral will be held Tuesday December 30, 2003 in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home 91 Central Street, Auburn, burial will follow in Notre-Dame Cemetery. A Calling Hour will be held prior to the service from 10-11:00 AM
