With a secret love for writing and an uncanny ability to conquer any task she set her mind to, Barbara Jo McCall of Fitzgerald, GA, was a modern day Renaissance woman. In her life she owned and operated a flower shop, served several business offices with the fastest fingers on Earth, became a registered nurse and developed a magical talent for fixing a car with a bottle of Coca-Cola. Barbara truly inspired and awed every life she touched.
On December 29, 2010, the world lost a brilliant mind, a creative spirit and an outrageous wit that was uniquely Barbara; the many people who loved her so dearly will miss her very much. Barbara is survived by Susan Kent of Brooklyn, New York, Amy Kent and Victoria McCall of Fitzgerald and her brothers Robert McCall of Ocilla and Jack McCall of West Palm Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her sister Geraldine Evans.
