Enrico H. DiBacco, 77 of Lynn MA, died Saturday in the Union Hospital, Lynn, after a lengthy illness. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Guistino and the late Nunzia (Mottala) DiBacco. Mr.
Enrico was a resident of Lynn for twelve years formerly of East Boston. He worked as a supervisor in the central supply dept. of the Jamaica Plain VA Hospital and the Roxbury VA Hospital for over thirty years. Prior to his work at the VA Hospitals He was enlisted in the United States Army from 1942 - 1945 stationed in Pearl Harbor. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force until 1950 and was discharged from the Air Force Reserves in 1960. He was an honorary member of the Franco American Club and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and other Boston sports teams and also loved traveling. Late U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Foley) DiBacco and survived by two daughters: Judith DiBacco of Branson, MO and Joanne DiStefano of Bradford. He is also survived by ten loving grandchildren and four loving great grandchildren. Brother of Anna (DiBacco) DiTomaso of Salisbury and the late Raphaela (DiBacco) Cardone. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks Street, East Boston, at 11 AM.
