Mary E. “Mae” (Crimlisk) Houston, age 87 of Hudson, NH, died Saturday at the Fairview Nursing Home, Hudson, NH.
She was born in Boston, MA, grew up and was educated in Charlestown, MA. She was a resident of Hudson, NH for the past 7 years, formerly of Salem, and Peterborough, NH.
Mrs. Houston was a retired Telephone Operator & Clerical Worker for New England Telephone in Boston, MA. She was a US Army veteran, serving in the WAC during World War 2. She was a Charter Member of the VFW Post in Brighton, MA. She was also a member of the Secular Franciscan Order as a lay Nun.
She was predeceased by her Husband Daniel J. Houston
She is survived by 2 Step Sons: David & his Wife Patricia Houston of Jaffrey, NH Daniel & his Wife Cheri Houston of Plainville, MA
3 Step Daughters: Bernadette & her Husband John White of Westwood, MA Catherine & her Husband Robert Falvey of Dedham, MA Agnes & her Husband Joseph Donovan of Dedham, MA

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
