Marie Rose LeSage,93, of Haverhill died on Saturday December 25, 2010 at her home. Marie was born in Berlin, NH and lived in Andover and Methuen where she and her husband raised their 19 children. She was an avid country music fan and sang with The Grand Ole Opry. The widow of Wilfred W.J. LeSage, her family members include her sons, Alfred and his wife, Blanche LeSage of Methuen, Donat LeSage of Las Vegas, NV, George LeSage of Derry, NH, Armand LeSage of Hooksett, NH, James and his wife Diane LeSage of Epsom, NH, Henry and his wife, Betty LeSage of Warner, NH and John and his wife, Pierrette LeSage of Derry, NH. She leaves her daughters, Blanche and her husband, Roger Travers of Haverhill with whom she resided, Rose Demers of Derry, NH, Lorraine and her husband , Howard Hughes of Berwick, ME, Claire Feugill of Lowell and Jeanette and her husband, Alfred Rogers of Antrim, NH. Marie was pre-deceased by 7 children. She has 53 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday December 29, 2010 from 9 to Noon at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 pm In St Augustine Church, Ames Street, Lawrence. The burial will Be in St Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
