Sue Carol Francis Gibson, 62, of 244 Parkland Drive, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Duke University Hospital
in Durham. Born in Danville on July 27, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John B. Francis and Margaret Seay
Francis. She has lived most of her life in the Danville area and was employed as a cashier by Lowe's of Danville. She
was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by her husband, James Ellison Gibson, Jr., two sons, Kevin Gibson and wife Nicole of Blairs,
and Kenneth Gibson, of the residence. She is also survived by two brothers, John B. Francis and wife Tricia, and
Michael E. Francis and wife, Tammy, all of Danville; three grandchildren, Kamryn Gibson, Bryan Walker and Kaleb Gibson.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Philip Coy Gibson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is at the residence, 244 Parkland Drive, Danville.
