Rose Marie (Mirabile) Candura of Arlington died Sunday at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 86.
Rose Marie was raised in Medford the daughter of the late Nicolo and the late Frances (LaRosa) Mirabile. She and her husband were married 50 years ago and settled in Arlington. She was devoted to her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking, especially. She possessed a large collection of cookbooks.
The beloved wife of Joseph V. Candura, she was a devoted mother to Ann-Marie Candura, Lisa Canniff and her husband Chris all of Arlington. She was a loving grandmother to Jacqueline, Christopher and Nicholas Canniff all of Arlington. The sister of Joseph P. Mirabile of Yarmouthport, the late Josephine Mirabile, Nicolo A. and Anthony W. Mirabile, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Thursday, December 23, at 9 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge St. Winchester at 10 AM. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Wednesday 4 thru 8, at the funeral home. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
