Domenic A. "Ted" DeAngelis

...drywall contractor, family in Tewksbury; 70

CHELSEA - Domenic A. DeAngelis, 70, best known by his nickname "Ted," a contractor with family in Tewksbury, died Thursday,Dec. 25, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Margaret A. "Peggy" (Chiaramonte) DeAngelis.

He was born in Everett, June 13, 1933, but had lived the greater part of his life in Chelsea. Priorto his long term disability from Multiple Sclerosis, he was employed by several Boston areadrywall installation companies.

In his earlier years, he was a member of the Merrit’s Athletic Club in Chelsea, and was an avidand accomplished bowler.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Domenic Jr. and Lynne (Roy)DeAngelis of Bristol, CT, Douglas and Kathlene DeANgelis of Litite, PA; three daughters andsons-in-law, Darlene and Franco Chilante of Peabody, Dawn and Robert Cutone and Dreana andGregory Briggle all of Tewksbury; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Paul Sartorelli ofGeorgetown; five grandchildren, Dominic III, Alanna DeAngelis, Franco Paul Chilante, Kaleneand Robert Cutone.

Following cremation, a Memorial Mass was held Saturday, Jan. 10, in St. William’s Church.
