Obituary

Lorraine A. (Eccleston) Milley Barclay age 81 of Windham, NH, died Saturday at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH.

She was born in Noank, CT, grew up and was educated in East Boston, MA. She was a resident of Windham for the past 35 years, formerly of North Reading, MA.

Lorraine was retired from Digital Equipment Corp. in Salem, NH, where she worked for over 15 years. She also retired from Winchester Hospital as a Central Service Tech. She was a former member of the Eastern Star in Reading, MA.

Lorraine was known for her love of baking. She was known as the “Bakery Lady” in Windham, NH. She would deliver cookies and baked good to local stores, town hall and banks. She was also an avid Bingo player.

All who knew her know that Lorraine’s family was everything to her. Lorraine was the heart of a large and loving family.

She is survived by her husband John A. Barclay of Windham, NH

Carol Ricker of Medford, MA

Son: Allan & his wife Debbie Milley of Auburn, MA

Step Children: Deborah Legere & Kevin Barclay of Lawrence, MA

Sisters in Law: Carol Sadzewicz of Salem, NH
Sis Eccleston of Epsom, NH

Grandchildren: Donna Stephens, Bill Thompson, Kimberly Emmons, Brenda Thompson, & Michael Ricker

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Hill, Windham, NH. Calling hours will be Monday, Dec. 27 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
