Anne Marie Poole, 76, of Burtonsville, MD died on December 19, 2010 at Laurel Regional Hospital. She was born on November 21, 1934 in Lawrence, MA to the late John R. and Anne I. McCormack. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1952 and Merrimack College in North Andover, MA in 1956. She retired from the Naval Ordnance Laboratory in White Oak, MD after 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Helen O’Donnell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Beth and Jim Fidanza; her grandchildren Alyssa and Andrew Fidanza; sister Sandy and her husband Joe Pauta of Salem, NH and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 with a prayer service beginning at 3:30 pm. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 11:00-12:30 pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm in St. Monica Church, Methuen, MA. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
