Paul K. Robideau 51 of Provincetown died Deceember 12, 2010 at his home in the presence of his mother and brother. He had been battling cancer for over 3 years. Born in Bristol, CT on June 30, 1959, he was the son of Karleen A. (Baehr) Robideau and the late John Robideau. Paul first moved to Provincetown from Bristol, Ct about 27 years ago. He graduated from Bristol High School and attended the University of Connecticut. During high school he enjoyed acting at the Bristol Civic Theater. He has worked in food service and restaurant management most of his life. Over the years he has worked at several well known Provincetown restaurants including the Mayflower, the Seaview, currently Bubula’s Georges Pizza and Ross’ Grille.
Mr. Robideau loved to garden and cook. They were his two passions. He maintained the gardens at the 167 Commercial St. Condo Complex as well as doing some yard work for friends. He was also a volunteer at the former Provincetown AIDS Support Group.
Besides his mother he is survived by his brother John and his wife Donna of Southington, CT and his good friend Herb Oulette of NYC. He will also be missed by his many friends he has met over the years in Provincetown.
A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 94 Harry Kemp Way Provincetown on Thursday Dec. 17, 2010 at 11:00am. On Saturday at 10:00am, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew Church 120 Church Ave. Forestville, CT followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville, CT.
