Lina Joyce (Spicer) Silva, 73, formerly of Colwell Road in Smithfield, died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Silva.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Jean R. (Guitar) Davis, she had been a resident of Smithfield since 1964.
Mrs. Silva loved vacationing with her family and bingo. She also was a volunteer at various local Alzheimer units.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Spicer of Chepachet, Kerri Desnoyers and her husband, Paul of Chepachet; her grandsons,Wayne, Jr., and Brandon Spicer, Thomas and Matthew Desnoyers and a sister Brenda Morin of Pascoag.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Committal service at 9:30 am in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. Visitation Sunday 4-7pm.
