Mrs. Catherine Anne Barner
Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, December 16, 2010, Mrs. Catherine Anne Barner, 59, wife of Kliff Barner.
Mrs. Barner was born in Hawaii but lived in the Augusta area for the past 35 years. She was Assistant Director for IT at Augusta State University. Mrs. Barner will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: Eric Shawver and wife Kelly; parents: George and Anne Whitehorne; sisters: Lucy Whitehorne, Mary Helen Polinski; grandson: Finley Shawver; and father-in-law James K. Barner.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
