Ruth A. (Reed) Frederick of Salem, New Hampshire and formerly of Methuen, and Gloucester, MA died Sunday at her home, she was 57 years old.
Mrs. Frederick was born in Gloucester and moved to Methuen at the age of 11 where she continued her education and later graduated from Tenney High School class of 1964 She worked as a Teachers Aide and a substitute teacher in Salem, NH and Pelham, NH school districts.She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem where she served as a teacher for religious education and served as the religious education secretary, she was active in the Salem, NH Christians Women’s Prayer group, she served as a volunteer for the NH Cancer Society and she was involved in the Derry – Salem Elks Lodge # 2226 while her husband, Roger served as the Exhaulted Ruler, she was also the founder of the Mickey Mouse Club at the Elks Lodge.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street in Salem, NH. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church in Salem followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery also in Salem.
