Michael C. Marinelli, 55, of Fairhaven died Monday December 13, 2010 suddenly at home. He was the husband of Karen (Ribeiro) Marinelli.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Charles P. Marinelli and the late Anna (Moretti) Marinelli, he lived in New Bedford and Fairhaven all of his life.
Mr. Marinelli was employed as a security guard at the Titleist Corporation.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Holy Family High School.
Survivors include his wife; his father Charles and his wife Naomi of New Bedford; a son, Charles Marinelli of New Bedford; three stepchildren; Amanda Bumpus, Melissa Leiriao, and Shawn Hose, all of Fairhaven; a sister, Joanne Mackay and her husband Stephen of Peculiar, MO; two grandchildren, Anna and Charles Marinelli; a niece, Nicole Mackay and a nephew, Sean Mackay.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday morning from 9:30 - 11:30 AM, prior to the service.
