Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Obituary Information
Mr. D’Agostino died Monday afternoon at his home surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Wallingford, CT, son of the late Vincent and Mary (Boni) D’Agostino. He attended Wallingford schools and was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School, class of 1943. He also graduated from the New England Technical Institute in 1947 as a Radio Serviceman. After his graduation he enlisted in the US Navy; serving on the USS Thomas E. Fraser DM24 during WWII and during Korea he served on the USS Moale DD693. He had been a resident of Brockton since 1961. He had been employed by Chaets, Booths Radio, and Edgars Department Store as a Television repair technician, known as TV Dan.
He was a member of the Conte Memorial Club and Polish White Eagles of Brockton, he enjoyed playing the accordian, loved animals and spending time with his family
He is survived by three sons, Kevin D’Agostino of Hyannis, Dean D’Agostino of Brockton, Troy D’Agostino of Centerville, two daughters Anna Sullivan of Plymouth and Tracy Sullivan of Marstons Mills, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews of Wallingford CT, one brother Mario D’Agostino of Wallingford CT. He was the father of the late Daniel Jr. and Domonic D’Agostino, brother of the late Aldo and William D’Agostino
