Worcester - Grace M. (Graham) Sullivan, 85, passed peacefully in her home on Monday, December 13, 2010, surrounded by the loving support of her family. Grace was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Margaret (Moffat) Graham; her brother William Graham Jr. predeceased her in September, 2010. Grace was blessed with a large family and leaves her six children: Peggy and Henry Dymek of Grafton, MA; Anne and Charlie Kruse of Worcester, MA; Tom and Cindy Sullivan of Suwannee, GA; Dan and Katie Sullivan of Naples, FL; Jim and Cindy Sullivan of Marshfield, MA; and John and Bethe Sullivan of Worcester, MA; many nieces and nephews including Leslie and Lindsay Graham; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Grace enjoyed a long career in the hospitality industry, including many memorable years with the former Russell's on Lincoln restaurant, the Sheraton Lincoln and Worcester Marriot Hotels, and the Worcester and Pleasant Valley Country Clubs. In her later working years, she worked for the Worcester Visitors and Convention Bureau. Grace cherished her friends and family and spent many summers at Hampton Beach, NH. She had a gift for creating beautiful crocheted items and was infamous for her intricate doilies which she loved to give as gifts to all she met.
Calling hours will be held from 5 - 8 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2010, at the Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 17, 2010, at the Greendale People's Church, 25 Francis Street. Burial will be private in Rural Cemetery.
