Larkin, Christopher Of Marshfield, formerly of Dorchester and Peterswell, County Galway, Ireland, Dec 11, at the age of 81. Husband of 47 years to the late Josephine (Fahy) Larkin. Devoted father of Susan Carver and her husband Paul of Marshfield, John Larkin and his wife Susan of Pembroke, Brian Larkin and his wife Stacy of Braintree and the late Ann Marie Ford and her husband Bobby of Dorchester. Grandfather of Jacqueline, Alexandra, Meaghan, Sean, Brianna, Brendan, Ashley, Grace, Caroline, Christopher and Madison. Brother of Maureen O’Meara of Athlone, Ire., and Joseph Larkin of New Castle West, Ire. Born and educated in Ireland Christopher moved to Dorchester in 1961, he became a summer resident of Marshfield in 1975 before moving permanently in1992. Christopher was a retired carpenter for local 67 and was a 50 year member of that Union. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St (Rte 139) Marshfield Thursday at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St Ann’s by the Sea Church, Marshfield at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
