BEVERLY: Barbara (Williams) St. Peter, 70, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 surrounded by her family and friends in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of Carol J. St. Peter.
Born in Beverly on July 28, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Woodbury) Williams. A lifelong resident of Beverly, she was a graduate of Beverly High School class of 1958.
Barbara was employed as a receptionist by O.B.G.Y.N of Beverly for many years. She was a fanatic sports fan who loved the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins and NASCAR. She was also a social member of the Italian Community Center in Beverly.
In addition to her husband of forty-nine years, she is survived by three sons, David St. Peter and Scott and his wife, Julie St. Peter all of Florida and Gary St. Peter of Seattle; a sister and brother, Judith Williams and Stephen Williams both of New York; three grandchildren, Matthew and Dylan St. Peter and their mother, Kim St. Peter of Danvers and Katelyn St. Peter of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly at 12 noon. A reception will follow the service at the ICC in Beverly. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. and Wednesday 10:30 – 12 noon. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
