Manchester-Paul Emile Goupil, 85, died December 10, 2010 at Hanover Terrace Healthcare Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Stoke, P.Q. Canada on May 28, 1925 the son of Louis and Armelia (Roy) Goupil.
He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Local 118 for 55 years.
He was a Third Degree Knights of Columbus in Council 5163, and a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus in the Bishop Bradley Council 626.
He held membership the NRA and the Raymond Sportsmens Club. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting.
Family members include his wife of 42 years, Irene (Vallee) Goupil of Manchester, one son Robert Y. Goupil of Hudson, MA., four brothers, his twin brother Paul Eugene Goupil, Rene Goupil, Lionel Goupil, Denis Goupil, all of Sherbrook P.Q. Canada, two sisters, Irene Pouliot of Newport VT., Rose Begin of Sherbrook, P.Q. Canada, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In His Life: He also leaves one grandson, James F. Goupil of Manchester.
Services: Calling hours will be on Monday from 3 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St..
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Anthony Church.
Burial will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
