Mr. Brendan Francis Brown, 81, of Methuen, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, December 8th, 2010, after a brief illness at the Sutton Hill Nursing Center in North Andover, MA.
He was born on May 29, 1929 in Lowell, Massachusetts to the late Ernest W. and M. Alice (Bullard) Brown. Brendan was a graduate of Lowell High School.
During the Korean War he served in the United States Navy as a Gunners Mate on the Battle Ship USS New Jersey. Brendan saw action in various areas of the South Pacific. He was employed by AT&T for 40 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club.
He loved to travel and enjoyed all kinds of music.

A granddaughter Kara Nassif of Derry, NH as well as several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13th, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Burial will be private.
