ROCKINGHAM: Mrs. Mary Robinson Reeves Hinson, 70, of Rockingham, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 10, from Roberdel Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Smith and Rev. Jerry Turner officiating.
Mary was born in Sampson county on November 21, 1940, a daughter of the late Howard and Mary Belle Bullard Reeves. She was an active member of Roberdel Baptist Church until her illness. She retired from J.P. Stevens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Hinson, a son, Larry Colt Hinson, two brothers H.A. and Alec Reeves, and a sister, Carolyn Laurino.
She is survived by a daughter, Angie Hinson Long of Rockingham; two brothers, Larry and Barry Reeves both of Swansboro; two sisters, Sylvia Norris of Swansboro, Martha Banks of Maysville; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friens Friday from 2-3:00 at Roberdel Baptist Church.
