Marie C. George, 68, of Derry, NH died Sunday December 5, 2010 at her home. She was born on April 11, 1942 in Methuen, MA a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Eleanor (Leslie) Cote Sr. She was a resident of Derry for four months, formerly living in Hampstead and Windham. Marie was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 1961. She enjoyed reading and loved her cat. She was also a member of Island Pond Baptist Church in Hampstead.
She is survived by two son, Brian George of Derry, David George of Methuen, MA , one daughter, Karen George of Hampstead, one brother Joseph Cote Jr. of Derry, one niece and one nephew.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, graveside services were held on Friday December 10, 2010 at 1:00pm at Cemetery on the Hill, Range Road, Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s memory to the ASPCA, C/O Linda Tiramani, 520 8th Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
