FRANKLIN—David A. Hayward 69, of Franklin, died Sunday December 5, 2010 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary M. (Ebbs) Hayward.
Born in Brockton, February 22, 1941, a son of the late Arthur R. and Virginia A. (Faulk) Hayward he was a resident of Franklin for over 10 years and formerly lived in Mansfield for many years.
Mr. Hayward was educated in Arlington, and was a graduate of Bentley College where he received an Associate’s degree in accounting. He worked as a customer service representative for Bank of America for more than 30 years.
He enjoyed playing golf, the Red Sox, trips to Mohegan Sun, Twin River,& spending time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 38 years, he is survived by 3 sons; Matthew Hayward of Attleboro, Mark J. Hayward and his wife Jean of Pembroke, and Sean M. Hayward and his wife Beth of Franklin, a sister Gail Chartier of Carver, and his grandchildren; Caleb, Hannah, Luke, and Joshua. Also surviving are his beloved pets Zoee, and Sweetie
He was the brother of the late Paul C. Hayward.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Friday December 10th at 12PM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.franklinfuneral.com, with a graveside service at Knollwood Memorial Park 321 High St. Canton, MA 02021 at 1PM. Interment will follow.
