Helen “Louise” Glenn Dunkelberger, 79, of Santee, South Carolina, formerly of Tifton, died Monday, December 6, 2010, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010, at Pelham City Cemetery in Pelham. Rev. Billy Joe Butler will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 9, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Dunkelberger was born on May 1, 1931 in Pelham and was the daughter of Joseph Kindred Glenn and Willie Mae Reagen Glenn, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Dunkelberger; and two sisters, Doris Butler and Mattie Knight. She was retired as a billing clerk with Ryder Truck Lines in Albany.
Mrs. Dunkelberger is survived by one son, Bruce Dunkelberger of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherelyn D. and Freddy Turner of Santee, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Tina Sammons, Cody Dunkelberger, Josh Dunkelberger, all of Tifton, and Amy Turner Benton of Calera, Alabama; and six great-grandchildren.
