Harold A. Caswell, 84, of New Bedford died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at home. Born in New Bedford, he was son of the late Howard F. and Carrie E. (Maryott) Caswell, he had lived in New Bedford since 1977. A veteran of WWII and the Korean War, he served his country in the United States Navy for over 20 years.
Survivors include a son: Barry A. Caswell of New Bedford; 3 daughters: Cheryl A. Caswell of Norfolk, VA, Pauline L. Walters of Norfolk, VA and Deborah L. Caswell of Norfolk, VA; a brother: Everett H. Caswell of GA; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Ruth G. Gray.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be from 10 – 11 A.M. prior to the service.
Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
