In Taunton, December 5, 2010 Laura B. (Gendreau)Gaudette wife of the late Albert E. Gaudette died at Morton Hospital in Taunton at the age of 99. Born and educated in Dracut, Laura was the daughter of the late Albert and Cecile (LeBlanc) Gendreau. Laura was a retired seamstress for the former Robertson’s Curtin Factory in Taunton. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and crocheting. Laura said longevity in life is by always keeping busy. She is the mother of Edward Gaudette and his wife Mary of Raynham, Leonard Gaudette and his wife Anne of Lakeville, Joan Laranjo and her husband Ed of CA and Albert “Victor” Gaudette and his wife Jean of South Dakota. Grandmother of sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was the last survivor of eight sisters. A prayer service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Friday, December 10 at 11 am. Calling hours will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 4-7 pm. Interment Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
